Charlie’s mum Sara had booked Charlie’s cake smash a few months in advance (something we recommend as we book up very quickly). Charlie wasn’t too keen on the cake at first showing more interest in the backdrop but as with every toddler some wiggles music some dancing by mum and very bad singing on my part he started to get into the swing of things and smashed his cake like a pro.

{Perth Family Photographer} Sharron’s Hope for Cole

I donated a photo session for a local fundraising drive for a young man called Cole. Cole and his family are past clients and this brave 12 year old boy is battling bone cancer, and has had one arm amputated in an attempt to save his life. The community rallied around Cole and an auction organised by his classmate. Sharron was the winning bider of the photo session donating $500 to the family. She is a beautiful woman inside and out with a gorgeous family.

Terenna and her family booked in for a family cake smash as they wanted some family portraits with a difference. They had a great time demolishing the cake and my studio looked like a bomb had gone off in a bakery but the photos were well worth it as were the laughs.

I have been so lucky to photograph Maisie from when she was a bump, newborn, 6 months old and now a beautiful one year old toddler and hoping in 2013 as a flower girl at Mum and Dad’s wedding along with big brother Jack. Maisie’s mum Vicky made this AMAZING cake which was too good to smash but smash it we did (I stole a taste it was SO YUMMY) although young Maisie wasn’t too keen we got there in the end even if there were a couple of tears she is still adorable. Happy Birthday Maisie!

I just wanted to thank everyone for their support in 2012 and wish all our clients a safe and happy Christmas. The office will be closed from Dec 23rd until Jan 7th and I will not be checking emails or calls and will return these when I get back on the 7th.

2012 will see some big changes and new VIP packages for our loyal customers – bigger and better than before.

Jensen is adorable, big smiles as soon as he greeted me at the front door and they just kept on coming. He LOVED the camera, he LOVED the cake and I LOVE LOVE LOVE his outfit so much so I have ordered some for clients to use in their cake smash sessions!!! Lily and Jack are just gorgeous kids I hope my two grow up to be as close as these guys. That said they never held back during their cake smash especially when I gave them the go ahead to really go nuts. Between dodging icing and laughing I managed to get some fantastic photos the guys had an absolute blast and so did I! Meet Lily & Jack proving cake smashes are for ANY age!
